How Aetna Coverage Works at Good Therapy SF

We’re in-network with Aetna for commercial and employer-sponsored plans, which means:

  • You pay your plan’s copay or coinsurance instead of our full session fee
  • Copays for behavioral health typically run $20 to $50 depending on your specific Aetna plan
  • Some plans require you to meet a deductible first; others don’t. We’ll check before your first session.
  • No referral needed for outpatient therapy
  • Telehealth is covered at the same rate as in-person visits

We bill Aetna directly. Before your first appointment, we’ll verify your specific benefits so you know exactly what to expect. No surprise bills.
